Why has Harvest become so much more expensive?

Harvest has changed its pricing structure, meaning some customers may see substantial increases in their costs. If your new Harvest bill is significantly higher, it’s worth comparing alternatives before committing to a new contract or renewal.

Is there a good alternative to Harvest?

Yes. Timewatch provides time tracking, timesheets, project tracking, reporting, billing and approvals, while also offering deep integration with Microsoft Outlook and Teams.

Is Timewatch cheaper than Harvest?

Timewatch believes customers should benefit as we grow. As our customer base increases, we become more efficient — and we pass those savings on through lower prices and better value, rather than increasing prices simply because customers are already committed to us. As a result, yes, Timewatch is more cost effective and better value for money than Harvest as we have not increased our prices and are now less expensive than Harvest and have better Outlook and Teams integration.

Is Timewatch a UK-based alternative to Harvest?

Yes. Timewatch is a UK-based company with decades of experience developing time management and timesheet software for the UK market as well as the US and worldwide market.

Does Timewatch integrate with Outlook?

Yes. Timewatch not only turns Outlook and Teams appointments and meetings into timesheet entries, it actually runs inside Outlook and Teams on PC, Mac and mobile, meaning if you use Microsoft 365, users can complete their timesheets in Outlook and Teams.

How is Timewatch different from Harvest?

Timewatch combines traditional time tracking and timesheet functionality with deep Outlook and Teams integration, powerful cost and charge rate systems, analytics and optional billing. This means your users' calendars can become a starting point for your timesheet rather than requiring users to enter the same information twice, and administrators, project managers and billing agents have similar functionality and analytics to Harvest, but with a UK based operation and GBP based pricing.

Can Timewatch automatically create timesheets from Outlook?

Yes. Timewatch can bring Outlook appointments and Teams meetings into your timesheet and use AI to help allocate them to the appropriate customer, project or activity.

Does Timewatch work with Microsoft Teams?

Yes. Timewatch integrates with both Outlook and Teams, making it particularly suitable for organisations already using Microsoft 365.

Is it difficult to switch from Harvest to Timewatch?

Switching doesn't have to be difficult. Timewatch can help you plan the transition, configure your system and get users up and running, allowing you to move away from Harvest without unnecessarily disrupting your business.

Can I try Timewatch before switching from Harvest?

Yes. Contact Timewatch to discuss your requirements and arrange an evaluation or demonstration.

Why should I switch from Harvest to Timewatch?

If Harvest's new pricing has increased your costs significantly, switching gives you an opportunity to reduce your software costs while gaining deeper integration with Outlook and Teams. Timewatch's approach to pricing: as our customer base grows, we aim to make our software better value rather than increasing prices simply because customers are already using it. You also benefit from stable, predictable UK pricing in GBP.

Will Timewatch increase its prices as it gets more customers?

Timewatch takes a different approach. As our customer base grows and we become more efficient, we believe our customers should benefit through better value and, where possible, lower prices. Our growth should benefit our customers, not cost them more.

Why choose a UK-based time tracking company?

Timewatch is UK-based (and US-based), providing local expertise and support while offering a platform designed to work particularly well with the Microsoft 365 environment used by many UK businesses.

Is Timewatch priced in GBP?

Yes. Timewatch UK is a UK-based company and prices its software in GBP, giving UK customers greater certainty over their costs. Unlike pricing in a foreign currency, there is no need to factor in exchange-rate fluctuations when budgeting or renewing your subscription. It also makes it easier to compare the true cost of Timewatch with other UK business expenses.
