Timewatch’s Latest Team Calendar View Makes Organizations More Efficient
Our new team calendar view is more efficient and flexible, as well as easier to use and organize than any traditional team calendar.
Team calendar users all want the same thing: to be able to see who is doing what, when, for how long, and how much time employees still have available. It is possible to work out this information with a traditional calendar but our new team calendar makes it much easier and more efficient.
How? For one reason, you can see more of your employee calendars on the same screen.
Take a look at this example:
Here you can see exactly what each member of your staff is working on, what they are doing, which customer or project they are working with, how long they are booked or scheduled to spend with that customer or project and the start time and end time of each event. It’s all so much easier to see and understand.
Importantly, there is also colored meter at the bottom of each day that clearly shows staff availability.

The green bar shows availability, and overbooked days are highlighted in red. This alerts managers to potential problems before they become real problems.
Compare our new team calendar view to a traditional employee team calendar view.
With a traditional calendar, you can also see what people are working on and when they are working on it. You also have to do some arithmetic to figure out the duration of appointments.

That sucks up mental bandwidth and time and no one wants that. It takes work. It is not efficient. Instead, take a look at our new team calendar again and you can see all this information leaps off the screen:

Here the gauge clearly shows you that Barry Richards is overbooked on Wednesday. His two-hour demonstration call with Arcadia could be dragged to Friday. With the traditional calendar view it is easy to miss that Barry is overbooked on Wednesday.
Another benefit of the new team calendar view is that it is much more efficient and can display more people over a wider range of dates than a traditional calendar.

![]() | Outlook has no analytics. You can’t query time by customer, project or employee. We solve that.Does Outlook have any analytics? No, none. You can’t see employee calendars side by side, time is only shown in local times, there is no time zone information or utc offset, and you can only see a couple of days, and even then there is not enough detail to be useful. Timewatch’s multi-employee add-on calendar for Outlook solves this. You can see as many people as you want over as many days as you want (within reason) and sort, search and filter by availability or capacity as well as access powerful analytical and reporting tools. It turns Outlook into a resource scheduling and company resource planning tool. |
