Does ProjectTime integrate with MS
Project 2003?
Yes, it supports all version from Project 98 |
|
Does ProjectTime use Project Server?
It doesn't
need Project Server, but if you have it, you can still use Project Server. |
|
What are the advantages of ProjectTime
over Project Server?
The main difference is the facilities it
provides to end users; easy timesheet entry that can be via network, email, Web
and PDA, and the power and ease of use of extended functionality provided to
Managers. They can at last plan a project in MS-Project, then, at the click of
a button, see project performance. |

We use MS-Project, but it's too much. We
really just want to allocate people for 1 or 2 days a week or X% of their time
for 1 week to 3 months. Is there anything you provide that can help with
this?
As of October 2004, no, but within a few months Timewatch plan
to release a new product codenamed "Whitespace" which allows you to do exactly
this. Please contact
us if you need more information on Whitespace. |
|
We already use MS-Project and I've had
difficulties using other products that supposedly work with MS-Project, what do
we need to do if we want to use ProjectTime?
ProjectTime
is very easy to install and configure, you simply run an install program, then
open ProjectTime (which runs MS-Project), you then build your plan and save it
just as you would any other Project Plan.
We are well aware of the
problems other systems have with MS-Project, which is why we provide a download
so that you can try it before you buy it. |
